Frankincense and myrrh, bought at the tree.

Wholesale supplier and exporter of Somali frankincense and myrrh for fragrance houses, distillers, incense manufacturers and ingredient distributors.

Maydi, Beeyo and myrrh — collected, graded and export-coordinated at origin, documented lot by lot.

Somali resin has never wanted for quality.
What buyers could not get was consistency — a grade you can specify, a document you can rely on, and one company answerable for both.

Boswellia frereana

Maydi

Pale, citrus-bright, free of boswellic acids — the frankincense that burns without soot. Grown only on the Cal Madow escarpment.

Boswellia carterii

Beeyo

The olibanum of the great fragrance houses — deep, resinous, faintly sweet. Colour-sorted into three classes before a kilo is offered.

Red-brown Somali myrrh, Commiphora myrrha, before cleaning and grading
Commiphora myrrha

Myrrh

Bitter gold. Selected for the reddish-brown, white-striated lumps of true myrrha — not the opopanax that dilutes commodity lots.

The only place on earth
where frereana grows

Limestone escarpment, monsoon wind and altitude produce a resin no plantation has managed to imitate. We buy where it is cured — on the tree, before the lot is blended down.
